David Brunelle for MPP
Meet Dave
Dave Brunelle is 6th-generation from Tiny. He was raised in Lafontaine, Ontario. He holds a Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. Over his 40+ years in various industries including construction and hospitality, and 30+ years of community coaching, Dave has now embarked in the public sector. His solid management and customer service skills, tireless work ethic and commitment to excellence, will create a strong voice of integrity for Tiny residents. Dave’s life is grounded in faith, family values, and commitment to his community. Over the past two years, besides being a member of council for the Township of Tiny, and sitting on the Parks and Recreation committee, and the Heritage committee, Dave has sat on the Cultural Alliance in the Heart of Georgian Bay committee, as he also advocates for cultural preservation.
Dave brings fiscal responsibility, honesty, and accountability to constituents. He believes in a balanced approach to decision making based on sound analysis and consultation with constituents and key stakeholders. Since government policy affects all residents, it’s important to get it right. Governments have a responsibility to their citizens to develop policies in a fair and transparent manner that benefit society without compromising the rights of the individual. Elected officials must be held accountable to the people they serve and uphold their duty to listen to, and represent their constituents respectfully, transparently, and in a lawful manner.
